Job Summary: Business Development Manager is responsible for maintaining existing relationships and cultivating new relationships for the purpose of growing the Performance Services business.  BDM’s are involved with executing strategic selling initiatives, along with the planning and execution of bid and proposal activities.  BDM’s will collaborate with Lead Engineers and Project Managers for the synchronized effort of all internal and external resources to accomplish business development and sales objectives.

Experience and Education: 5+ years working on project teams required. 3+ years leading project teams required. 3+ years executive level sales experience required. Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years of business development experience preferred. Experience working with school corporations, specifically K-12, preferred.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - KENTUCKY, WISCONSIN, TEXAS

Job Summary: Responsible for providing innovative and comprehensive solutions in design, energy and performance engineering. Lead engineers work in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Experience and Education: Minimum Required: Minimum of 8 years of experience designing traditional plan and specification projects in the HVAC industry. Preferred: Minimum of 5 years of experience performing energy engineering functions in support of performance contracting projects. BSME or BSMET from an accredited college or university. Professional Engineer registration in states where projects are conducted.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER - INDIANA, KENTUCKY, MISSOURI, TEXAS, ARKANSAS, ILLINOIS

Job Summary: Responsible for providing HVAC design support under limited supervision.  The mechanical engineer will work under the direction of a Lead Engineer and will report to the Engineering Manager.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - ARKANSAS, MISSOURI, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN, TEXAS, INDIANA, MICHIGAN.

Job Summary: Responsible for providing assistance in the estimating process to the Engineering/Estimating team. Writing and awarding contracts. Planning and scheduling proper staffing of assigned projects. Ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with the contract requirements. Maintaining excellent team communication with the customer and entire project team. Providing overall leadership to the project team to ensure a safe, profitable, and timely project completion. Providing overall contract administration throughout closeout of assigned projects.

Experience and Education: 6-10 years' experience in commercial construction; experience in the design-build methodology of project development is preferred; 4-year degree or industry experience equivalent preferred; background in educational or commercial construction.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST- INDIANA, KENTUCKY

Job Summary:  Responsible for assisting the service group in resolving EMS-related issues.  Duties will include; programming, customer training, troubleshooting, documenting performance, commissioning and setting up remote access communications.  This position will work closely with our Engineering team assisting in analyzing facilities, developing solutions, design and drawing preparation.

Experience and Education:  A minimum of 7 years of HVAC experience as a control technician such as JCI, Siemens, Invensys, Andover, Trane, or Alerton. A background in the service industry is a plus.  Experience serving K-12 schools is preferred as well as some engineering experience.  A 2-year technical degree or equivalent.

CONTROLS LEADER- ILLINOIS

Job Summary: Primary responsibilities will include providing leadership and employee development support to our growing Temperature Control team in North Eastern Illinois. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing assistance in the estimating process to the Engineering/ Estimating team, writing and awarding contracts, planning and scheduling for proper staffing of assigned projects, ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with the contract requirements, maintaining excellent communication with the customer and entire project team, and providing leadership to the project team to ensure a safe, profitable & timely completed project.

Experience and Education: Full understanding of typical HVAC systems such as hot water, chilled water systems, air handling units, unit ventilators, VAV systems, etc. Advanced computer skills. Ability to read and understand technical specifications and construction documents. Good oral and written communication skills. DDC controls integration knowledge including Tridium, BACnet, and LON. 4 yr degree or equivalent practical experience. Previous Supervisory experience in a team environment is a plus.

ARCHITECT- WISCONSIN, INDIANA

Job Summary: Performance Services is looking for an Architect for a variety of public and private architectural projects. This position involves managing the production efforts on projects/designs, "red lines," architectural design, code evaluations, construction document drawings, site evaluations, construction administration, specifications, project meetings and presentations, and coordination with our internal engineers, project managers and outside consultants for projects ranging from $2 million to $50 million in construction cost.

Experience and Education: Bachelor’s in Architecture required. Minimum of 3 years commercial building experience, architectural project management experience, architectural design experience, and construction management knowledge. Minimum two years REVIT experience. A professional license is preferred but not required.
