Job Summary:

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the long-term financial health of our organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the finance and accounting teams, providing strategic guidance, financial expertise, and effective leadership.

• Overall Leadership: Work collaboratively with the other senior leaders in analyzing how PSI has performed in the past, capturing lessons learned, and developing the best strategies to improve and grow in the future based on all of the internal and external factors impacting PSI.

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligning with the company’s goals and objectives. Provide actionable insights to drive business growth and profitability.

• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the forecasting and financial modeling processes. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement. Work with IT to enhance our Business Intelligence tools to maximize our success and accurately forecast our business.

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for the executive team and outside accounting firm. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accounting standards.

• Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including contractor insolvency, market volatility, credit risk, and liquidity risk. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

• Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow, manage working capital, maximize return on invested cash and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs and growth initiatives.

• Investment and Capital Allocation: Assess investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions. Evaluate the ROI of current and potential future offerings.

• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accuracy, and continuous improvement aligned with PSI’s Guiding Principles and Fundamentals.

• Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Coordinate financial audits and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.

• Tax Strategy: Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize the company’s tax liability while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

• New Territory Assessment and Office Build-out: Collaborate with the CSMO, COO, and General Counsel to assess the potential for our offerings in new territories and, once a new territory is selected, help launch the new office.

• Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, bonding companies, insurance companies and other financial partners. Maintain strong relationships and communicate financial performance effectively.

Experience and Education:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• A CPA license is preferred.
• 10 years of accounting experience is required.
• 5 years of supervisory experience is required.
