With more than 50 years of experience in public education and community service, Ralph Bailey has served as a teacher, principal and superintendent with Indiana public schools. On May 1, 2009, Performance Services welcomed Ralph's return as a Sr. Education Consultant.
Ralph began his career as a teacher at Coesse Elementary School in Columbia City, Indiana. He also served as principal and superintendent with the same school district from 1951 to 1989. After a a three-year teaching assignment with Manchester College, Ralph answered a request to serve in an interim superintendent capacity at Whitco Schools and has sinced represented eight other school districts in Indiana in the interim leadership role.
A Sagamore of the Wabash, Ralph is known for his positive "CAN DO" attitude, community spirit and wisdom of counsel among his friends and community. He is known for launching interim assignments with an inspirational talk that usually includes creative props. "Seeds of Possibilities" is one talk that encourages educators to 'step back' and remember the true reason for their work.
Ralph is also an innovator and a tough customer, a requirement for a Performance Services consultant. Ralph first met Performance Services as a customer when PSI was selected to renovate a mechanical system for his school district. Ralph's balanced perspective and years of experience in a variety of educator roles offers counsel to other school districts faced with the challenge of evaluating and selecting the right energy partner.
