Project Description

The Texas Facilities Commission selected Performance Services to implement an energy savings performance project at the Brown-Heatly Building, Central Services Building, Thomas J. Rusk Building, and William P. Hobby Complex in Austin, Texas. This represented the first energy savings performance contract by a state agency in Texas in over eight years and was a key component of the Texas Facilities Commission’s overall energy master plan. The project is saving over 26% in annual energy costs from baseline energy consumption. Nearly $300,000 in energy savings rebates and incentives were also provided by the local utility company.
