Hal joined the Performance Services team in 2026 with 27 years of experience in the commercial and industrial construction sectors. While at Georgia Southern University, Hal worked as an Estimator and Pre-Construction clerk for a mechanical/electrical contracting firm. After graduating from Georgia Southern with a degree in Construction Management, Hal shifted to general contracting, working as a Quality Control Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Estimator/Pre-Construction Manager for general contracting firms and developers. Hal has had the pleasure to work on a variety of construction projects, including NASA’s first LEED accredited project, multiple historic renovations, including the award-winning historic Miller Theater renovation in Augusta, and a multitude of educational, office, retail, restaurant, and parking deck projects. Most recently, Hal worked in the industrial construction sector as an Area Project Construction Manager at the Savannah River Site, overseeing the construction of facilities involved with nuclear processing and waste removal.
Outside of work, Hal enjoys fly fishing, spending time in the North Carolina Mountains, bird hunting with his two “bird” dogs, and collecting/restoring cars.
