Texarkana Arkansas School Leaders Receiving Rebate Check from Summit Utilities Energy Efficiency Program

Texarakana, AR. The Texarkana Arkansas School District received a $25,187.40 rebate through the Summit Utilities Energy Efficiency Program following the completion of a boiler improvement project at Arkansas High School.

The project was submitted to the program by Connor McWilliams with Performance Services. Through this initiative, TASD’s investment in energy-efficient equipment qualified the District for a rebate and supported continued improvements in the efficiency and reliability of its facilities.

Representatives from Summit Utilities and Performance Services joined TASD leaders for a check presentation recognizing the project and the value of partnerships that help strengthen district operations.

This rebate demonstrates how thoughtful investments and strong partnerships can create meaningful, long-term benefits for our schools. By identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency, TASD can reduce operational costs while continuing to provide dependable learning environments for students and staff.

The project also reflects the District’s commitment to responsible stewardship. Savings generated through strategic facility improvements allow TASD to better direct resources toward the people, programs, and services that support student success.

TASD appreciates Summit Utilities and Performance Services for their partnership and for helping turn an important facility improvement into meaningful savings for the District.
