Roger joined the Performance Services team in 2026. Roger spent the first ten years of his career working in coal-fired and nuclear power plants. After joining Northern Illinois Gas Company, he shifted his focus to commercial building HVAC system design and energy consumption. In 1991, Enron brought Roger to Houston to help sell direct gas-fired absorption cooling systems. Over the past few years, he has spent the majority of his time performing energy audits, retro-commissioning building automation systems, and creating building energy models to minimize energy consumption and quantify potential energy savings.
Outside of work, he enjoys boating on Lake Conroe and playing old gospel hymns on his keyboard. He is also a member of the Gideons International and distributes Bibles at public events throughout the northern Houston area.
