Russell Kennedy joined Performance Services in 2025 as a seasoned construction leader with 20+ years of extensive expertise in planning, developing, and implementing large-scale energy efficiency and utility infrastructure projects. His professional experience includes leadership roles at Ameresco, Inc., Trane Technologies, and Northwind Phoenix, where he consistently delivered innovative solutions, operational efficiencies, and long-term value for clients. Throughout his career, he has provided oversight to all aspects of project execution, including safety, scheduling, budgeting, client relations, and technical and administrative support.

With a career spanning central plant construction, remodels, pipeline installations, energy system integrations, and customized controls programming, Russell has delivered complex, high-value projects across diverse sectors. His portfolio includes transformative work for municipalities, universities, and private organizations, such as the $45.5 million Combined Heat and Power Plant at Arizona State University, the $150 million Northwind Phoenix Downtown District Energy system, and the City of Phoenix’s $26.8 million LED streetlight conversion encompassing 92,500 fixtures. He has also led multi-phase energy efficiency programs, advanced metering infrastructure installations, and renewable energy developments, including large-scale solar PV and battery storage projects. Russell brings his ability to manage complex technical requirements while balancing stakeholder priorities and a strategic and disciplined approach to every project he leads.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending free time with his family and outdoor activities like camping and power sports.
