Kyle joined Performance Services in 2018 and for the past nine years, he was employed at McKinstry and mainly worked on the project development team for energy savings performance contract (ESPC) projects. He was also a switch hitter and performed retro-commissioning and third party commissioning. Prior to McKinstry Kyle worked at a Farnsworth, a MEP consulting firm, designing HVAC and performing third-party commissioning. He also worked at Schneider Electric working on the project development team for ESPC projects. Kyle has developed ESPC projects for higher education, K-12, city, county, federal, healthcare, and laboratory clients. His retro-commissioning and third-party commissioning project portfolios include healthcare, laboratory (including BSL-3 labs & vivariums), city, and federal facilities. Kyle’s strengths are in project development, control design, HVAC design, commissioning, excel based building/central plant energy models and excel energy calculations.
He and his wife of 13 years, Bree, have four kids. Kyle is a Baylor Bear, grew up in north Dallas, lived in Colorado for a stint, and is now in the San Antonio hill country. He enjoys home improvement projects and getting outside for hiking, running, mountain biking, and fishing.
