Project Description

In 2016, Twin Lakes recognized several facility improvement needs and began searching for the appropriate delivery method to achieve their goals. After thorough research, the design-build delivery method was found to offer advantages in cost, quality of work, and speed of delivery. The district went through a competitive bid process and selected Performance Services to make additions and renovations to five school buildings and an athletic facility.

Scope

  • New secure entryways at two elementary schools
  • Boiler plant, air handler, and chiller upgrades
  • Classroom, gym, and media center HVAC replacement at Oaklawn Elementary School
  • Office Suite Relocation and Remodel at Oaklawn Elementary School
  • Two classroom additions and art room renovation at Oaklawn Elementary School
  • Auxiliary Gym updates at Roosevelt Middle School
  • Clean and seal limestone facade at Roosevelt Middle School
  • Auxiliary Gym addition, two classroom additions, and new kitchen equipment at Meadowlawn Elementary School
  • Welding Shop upgrades and FACS Classroom upgrades at Twin Lakes High School
  • Phone system upgrades at all buildings
  • Nine Tennis Court replacements
