OVERVIEW
John joined the Performance Services team in 2023. Prior to that, he was employed in the Energy Sales business for 17 years. Most of that time was focused on Natural Gas Sales to commercial and industrial customers. He has worked the Midwest market for a Mitsubishi subsidiary based in Houston, TX, for the last four and a half years. Before Mitsubishi, John owned his business, which was bought in 2018 by a large utility marketing arm. Over the last 25-plus years, he has worked in sales or operations for utilities, universities, and energy supply companies in the Midwest, including Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana. John received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University and a graduate degree from Webster University.
Outside of work, John and his family enjoy the outdoors and make frequent visits to their cabin. They are active members of their church and enjoy their small-town, close-knit community. His family are lifelong St. Louis Cardinal fans and have recently enjoyed celebrating Monday Night Football with everyone having a different team to cheer for.
