A Unified and Efficient Court System
The Elkhart County Consolidated Courts project has served to unify and modernize the county’s judicial system with a new courthouse in Goshen, Indiana, featuring current technology and accessibility for all citizens. This new facility incorporates trauma-informed design—prioritizing physical safety, emotional well-being, and respectful spaces for everyone.
The new campus replaces two outdated facilities to streamline operations and improve public access to justice, reflecting the county’s commitment to better service delivery. The new courthouse has reduced redundancies and improved efficiency. The centralized location makes it easier for residents to attend court proceedings, and the modern facilities will support the implementation of specialized courts, such as drug and family courts, tailored to community needs.
