Project Description
Performance Services worked with Greendale School District to assess new energy solutions for three elementary schools, Greendale Middle School, and Greendale High School. Greendale was looking for a partner with transparent policies and practices. Performance Services exceeded the requirements with their transparent open-book pricing, integrated design and delivery approach, and cost-effective solutions. Alternative energy solutions such as solar and geothermal were also proposed by Performance Services. As a result, Greendale Schools is collaborating with Performance Services and has become part of a true partnership to bring efficient and effective energy solutions to the school district.

The Greendale School District chose to employ a team of community members knowledgeable about engineering and finance, as well as our architect and key administrators to vet the potential project priorities and selection process. A comparison of two responses by the group left no doubt that Performance Services was the clear choice. They came to the table with detailed costs and detailed engineering plans. An analysis yielded that PSI would be at least $500K less, provide clear open book pricing, use vendors of our choice, and would return any unused funds to us to enlarge our scope. No ambiguity on costs and no change orders. The choice was easy!
