Bob joined the Performance Services team in 2026 after more than 30 years as an educator and school district leader in Wisconsin. Throughout his career, Bob has been driven by a commitment to improving educational systems, supporting students with diverse needs, and helping school communities grow in thoughtful and sustainable ways.
A Wisconsin native, Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. He later completed a Master’s degree in Leadership from Marian University and a Doctorate in Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. These experiences shaped his leadership philosophy and prepared him to navigate both instructional and operational challenges.
Bob spent over three decades serving the Kimberly Area School District, where he worked as a teacher of students with disabilities, coach, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. In recognition of his leadership and service, Bob was honored as Wisconsin Superintendent of the Year in 2020.
Appointed superintendent in 2008, Bob led the planning and completion of multiple capital projects, all accomplished without the use of a referendum. These efforts included completing an athletic complex, adding to the high school, renovating space for a 4K early learning center, creating a new administrative building through a community donation, developing a charter school, and renovating an existing facility to establish an in-district mental health center for students in crisis. His work culminated in the completion of one of the first indoor athletic training facilities in the state of Wisconsin.
Bob retired from public education in July 2025 after a distinguished career spanning more than three decades. His legacy reflects a steadfast commitment to educational excellence, collaborative leadership, and ensuring that schools are well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of students and communities.
