Kevin joined Performance Services Design, LLC (PSD) in 2026. He is an architect, planner, teacher, and sketcher. A native North Carolinian, he graduated from NC State University with undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture. Kevin’s expertise spans all phases of project development, encompassing design and management experience with education and local government clients. Projects under Kevin’s design leadership have been recognized with both national and regional awards, including Reston Town Center in Reston, VA. – a winner in the first national American Institute of Architects (AIA) Urban Design Award of Excellence Program.
Previously, he served as a Managing Principal in Clark Nexsen’s Charlotte office, a 350-person architectural and engineering firm. Kevin also served as an instructor in the Urban Design program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. For a decade prior, he was a Design Principal with AECOM, based in Charlotte and Roanoke, VA. Kevin was elected to the College of Fellows of the AIA in 2013, an honor bestowed by a jury of peers for advancing the practice, mentoring young architects, and providing service to society.
Outside of work, Kevin rides greenways and rail trails on his gravel bike, plays doubles tennis (and some pickleball), and sketches urban scenes while traveling and at home.
