Edwin joined the Performance Services team in 2026. He brings over 38 years of construction experience and has been a Union Carpenter since 1991. He has never attended trade school or taken classes in carpentry or construction management. He is proud to say that he is completely self-taught in his skill sets, has paid attention to detail, and has a sink-or-swim attitude. He has been a lead carpenter or foreman for building custom residential homes, a trim carpenter, a commercial carpenter, a door hardware carpenter, and a concrete form carpenter. Edwin has worked on high-rise buildings on the lakefront in Chicago, as well as small civil projects at Army and Navy bases in Georgia. He has been a Project Superintendent since 2005, working for FH Paschen for 16 years.
Outside of work, he has been involved in shooting sports since he was 18 years old and currently holds six master classifications in different sports.
