Comprehensive Capital Improvements
In 2024, the district was at a crossroads, with aging building systems requiring repair or replacement. After a community-wide survey, the board issued a capital referendum to address its infrastructure challenges while also improving safety and security at school buildings. On November 5, 2024, voters approved the $19.4 million capital referendum.
The referendum includes a series of capital improvement projects across multiple schools aimed at creating safer, more efficient, and conducive learning environments for students and staff. The two-phase project will address critical infrastructure, security, and Learning environment upgrades at Prairie View Elementary, East Troy Middle School, and East Troy High School.
