Project Description
The Southwestern Wisconsin School District selected Performance Services to complete critical infrastructure and learning environment improvements in every classroom in the District. The result is current systems that are energy efficient, maintainable and enhanced the learning environment for students, teachers, and staff.
Energy and Learning Environment Needs
Temperature
- Remove old unit ventilators and install new vertical Middle School classroom units
- Addition of cooling to the Middle School Building
- Removed existing network control panels and replaced digital control system
Indoor Air Quality
- Added CO2 sensors with outside dampers at minimum position
- Provide air and water balancing of all HVAC equipment
Air Distribution
- New vertical classroom units with overhead air distribution
- Installed new air relief fans with variable speed fan drives
- Installed new exhaust fans
- Installed New door frames to reduce air infiltration
Illumination
- New LED lighting and lay in ceilings with occupancy sensors
Security
- New fire alarm system and secure entrance at the Middle School
Energy Efficiency
- High efficiency condensing boilers
- New central chillers with remote outdoor air cooled condensers
- Domestic hot water heater
- Added roof insulation and membrane to all roof surfaces at Middle School
