Project Description
Greenfield-Central Community Schools selected Performance Services to develop a long-term infrastructure improvement plan for all nine of their facilities in 2006. The school corporation faced high energy costs due to inefficient HVAC design and control issues with the existing Building Automation System. High humidity and CO2 levels as well as classroom temperature and noise issues were identified by school faculty and affected the optimal learning environment. Roofing replacements were also required.
Results
Performance Services recommended solutions that now provide guaranteed quiet, comfortable classrooms. All four improvement phases were completed on time in the short summer window. Greenfield-Central Community Schools now boasts six schools that have achieved ENERGY STAR® certification and energy savings that have exceeded promised results.
Performance Services through pre-planning, their supply chain, their expertise and experience has managed to pull off an amazing amount of work in a short period of time and has made everyone happy in the district from the students clear up to the board.
