Project Description

In 2018, Performance Services was awarded a design-build project for Northwestern School Corporation after responding to a Request for Qualifications and Request for Proposal. The school had worked with Performance Service previously on four energy savings projects and selected the design-build delivery method because of their confidence that the same level of quality with open-book, transparent pricing, and a no change order guarantee would apply. The project was focused on improvements to the athletic complex, expanding events parking, and modernizing the science labs and greenhouse.

Project Highlights

  • Provided a new outdoor athletics support building including football lockers, tennis dressing rooms, training room, concessions, spectator restrooms, and storage
  • Provided new bleachers and press box that relocated the home-side seating from the east side of the stadium to the west side of the football field
  • Repaired and resurfaced the running track
  • Provided athletic field lighting for the baseball and softball diamonds
  • New building addition to enlarge two science labs, creating modern science labs and creating a new greenhouse
  • Renovation of three science labs including casework
  • Expanded public events parking to provide approximately 200 additional parking spaces for the sports fields
  • Acoustical upgrade to the main gym
