Kent joined Performance Services in June of 2021 after working in public education for 33 years. In the role of educational planner, Kent works closely with the architectural group to define programming requirements for educational facility studies and projects. During his career, he was a junior/high school teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, principal, director of personnel, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. In his role as superintendent for Greenwood Community School Corporation, he successfully led a bond issue to build a new middle school and helped the District build a cash reserve as well as grow the Rainy Day Fund. Under his leadership, he raised beginning teacher salaries and started the Greenwood Education Foundation for teacher grants.
