Mark joined the Performance Services team in 2024. He has 20 years of experience in Colorado Public School Operations, culminating with 11 years as COO and 5 years as Bond Officer. Prior to retiring Mark developed, implemented and managed the Harrison School District’s $160M bond, completing all projects on time and at/under budget. Mark is an active member, and past President, of the Colorado Association of School Business Officials, the Colorado School Plant Managers Association, and the Colorado Association of School District Energy Managers, as well as the International Association of School Business Officials. He has written and received numerous BEST grants totaling over $5M.
Prior to his service in Public Education, Mark served and retired as a Nuclear Engineer in the Navy, taught for 4 years in private schools, and worked for Colorado Springs Utilities. He has been happily married to his wife Linda for 43 years, and they have three grown children. Mark spent 3 years building a log house in the mountains. His hobbies include skiing/snowboarding, golfing, traveling, and hiking the mountains.
